2021 was a year filled with periods of adjustment and a range of "new normals." During these times of change, we are honored that you chose to look to MUTTS as a consistent source of cheer and heartwarming humor.
This year, we were busier than ever! Patrick released two books in 2021 — MUTTS Go Green is a diary-style collection of eco-friendly comic strips and tips, and MUTTS Moments is the latest Treasury book featuring a year's worth of comic strips. He also announced an upcoming book with none other than His Holiness the Dalai Lama! Tentatively titled Heart to Heart, this literary graphic novel is set to be published in the fall of 2022.
To make time for this once-in-a-lifetime collaboration, Patrick took his first-ever sabbatical from MUTTS. With more than 26 years of comic strips to choose from, he left us with a few months' worth of handpicked strips so we could revisit old favorites in the meantime. Patrick's sabbatical has officially ended though, and brand new strips will again be appearing daily, starting now!
This year, we also gave the MUTTS gang a new digital home. The new MUTTS.com offers more to explore with better, faster browsing and easier checkouts. And finally, we are so happy to say that we joined 1% for the Planet, in addition to making contributions to the HSUS and HSI's Animal Rescue Team and our ongoing support of local shelters. Through 1% for the Planet, we support nonprofits that are committed to ensuring our planet and its creatures are protected.
