The small town of Broken Bow, located in central Nebraska, is holding a Story Walk featuring Patrick McDonnell’s picture book Me … Jane, about the childhood of primatologist Jane Goodall.
Their local website describes the event as “a great way to read a good book while getting some exercise. Several businesses in Broken Bow have graciously agreed to display a page of this year’s Story Walk book in their window or entry. You will start the walk at the library to pick up a pamphlet telling you where each page is located.”
After a 1.5 mile walk through town, readers will have completed the book. Patrick is honored to have his work be a part of this fun and healthy event.
