It’s officially summer, which means the MUTTS cast will soon be reuniting with their ocean-dwelling friends down at the shore! With inspiration from relaxation expert Mooch and the ever-loyal pup Earl, here are a few of our favorite ways to enjoy the beach during summer vacation.

I have the “Mussel Relaxer” strip from a few summers ago taped to our refrigerator! It’s still great!!

I loved ‘em all, even though I’m not a beach lover. :)

I miss Wildwood and Cape May!!! Glad Mooch, Earl and Crabby get to go there!

Having never lived on or near the ocean, when “Mutts” spends the summer cruising the boardwalk and relaxing on quiet, windswept beaches, I get a melancholy ache in my heart. Your rendering of a spiral sun, grainy seashore, and lazy infinite sandbreak, transports me to a simpler time in life when living was easy and cares were few.
Thank you…..

I think we are all drawn to the ocean and soft sand makes it delightful. Thank you Mutts !

These are GREAT! I long to return to the beach – didn’t grow up there, but it was always in my spirit – and to have MUTTs on the BEACH makes me smile . . . . inside and out. I lived there once, and long to go back. To be sure, I always feel the bliss and joy of it all when I read your strips. Maybe add a ‘winter on the beach’ theme – it’s just as beautiful with a blanket and the stars. :O} Thanks for sharing!!!

I thinks we have all of the books of strips. Mutts has been a family favorite since the boys were just boys. We don’t get the strip in our local paper. (Tulsa World) My wife subscribes to the daily on line, but I am a bit late to the party. No more!
