As the year draws to a close, Thank You and Good Night is making its way into more and more “Best Of” lists. Now it’s taken top honor as one of The New York Times’ Notable Children’s Books of 2015 in its Picture Books category.
This prestigious list features just 25 books and is described as “The best in picture books, middle grade and young adult fiction and nonfiction, selected by the children’s books editor of The New York Times Book Review.”
Their review of Thank You and Good Night praises the book as “playful, extraordinarily charming”. Another recent article featured Thank You and Good Night in a trio of bedtime books and drew attention to its “adorably drawn little characters and openhearted message”.
